“Partnerships for the transfer of knowledge and technology for the development of specialized integrated circuits for increasing the energy efficiency of new generations of vehicles” - PartEnerIC

The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca started on September 1, 2016 the implementation of the project “Partnerships for knowledge transfer and technology for the development of specialized integrated circuits to increase the energy efficiency of new generations of vehicles” -, ID P_40_437, based on the financing contract no. 19 of September 1, 2016, concluded with the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation (ANCSI) as Intermediate Body, on behalf of and for the Ministry of European Funds (MFE), as Managing Authority (MA) for the Operational Program Competitiveness Priority Axis 1 - Research, technological development and innovation in support of economic competitiveness and business development, Action 1.2.3 (POC-A1.2.3-G-2015).

The total value of the project is 10.241.263,05 lei, of which 6.937.045,36 lei is non-reimbursable financial assistance. The implementation of the project will take 5 years and 11 months.

The goal of the PartEnerIC project is to transfer knowledge and technology between the Technical University > from Cluj-Napoca and the enterprises with research-development activities in the field of integrated circuits for the automotive industry , in order to develop new modeling, design, verification and characterization of the main types of high efficiency integrated circuits for power management in automobiles. The project aims to provide these companies with access to the advanced research services of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, as well as the possibility to enter into partnerships with the University in order to develop their capacity to make innovative products with superior performance to the market.
